Daniel A. Waitzman

Daniel Waitzman concentrates his practice in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. 

 

Experience:  Mr. Waitzman has represented carriers in coverage matters arising from property damage, bodily injury, mass tort and environmental litigation.  He has also represented individuals in breach of contract and consumer fraud actions. 

 

Honors, Education, and Activities: Mr. Waitzman is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.S., 2000) and received a J.D., with honors, from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law (2006).  Mr. Waitzman is a member of the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association.  He was admitted to the Illinois bar (2006) and U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois (2006).  He was the recipient of the Allen H. Schwartz Merit Scholarship (2003), Edward D. Rosenberg Memorial Scholarship (2004), and a Chicago-Kent Merit Scholarship.

 

Mr. Waitzman was also a judicial extern for Judge Lee Preston, who is the Supervising Judge of the Commercial Section of the Cook County Law Division.
