Matt Piers was honored at the American Constitution Society’s tenth annual Legal Legends Luncheon on July 29th. ACS honors members of the local bar for their outstanding contributions to the Chicago legal community. Past honorees have included the Honorable George N. Leighton (ret.), and the Honorable Dawn Clark Netsch, among others.
Matt is a shareholder at Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd. He is a nationally-recognized trial attorney, with a practice concentrating on complex litigation matters and civil rights cases. His victories include multi-thousand member class cases like Lewis v. City of Chicago and a decade-long fight that resulted in a $272 million verdict in In re Emerald Casino, Inc.
