Ms. Baik is an associate in the civil rights and employment group at Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd. She represents clients in complex litigation in state and federal court, advocating to enforce their rights in the workplace and beyond.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Baik was a Supervisory Attorney for Legal Aid Chicago’s farmworker project and fought for the rights of agricultural workers on issues such as wage theft, pesticide exposure, and labor trafficking. She also defended detained non-citizens against deportation at the Bronx Defenders in New York City.  

Ms. Baik graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She was a clinic student in the Kathryn O. Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic and a Public Service Scholar Fellow.

Prior to law school, Ms. Baik was a paralegal at the Prisoners’ Rights Project at the Legal Aid Society (NY). She earned a bachelor of arts degree from Wesleyan University in English. She is a fluent Spanish speaker.
