In another legal blow to the Chicago Fire Department’s hiring practices, the federal Court of Appeals in Chicago ruled, today, in favor of female paramedics in their sex discrimination lawsuit. The Court struck down a physical performance test that Chicago used for more than a decade to screen applicants for paramedic positions in the Fire Department.

Yesterday, the Chicago Tribune ran an article on a class action lawsuit filed by HSPRD alleging wage theft against All Star Amusement, a subsidiary of carnival giant North American Midway Entertainment.
