The Department of State Visa Bulletin for August 2016 has been issued and shows dramatic retrogression in visa availability in several employment based categories which are currently available to anyone in July. The Department of State advises that these categories will return to being available on October 1st.
One must file adjustment of status applications in the foregoing three categories in a manner to be receipted by USCIS on or before July 31, 2016 or they will not be able to be filed thereafter until October 1, 2016. If you need assistance, contact our immigration attorneys at 312.580.0100
