Last month, Kendra Scheuerlein, a partner in the Immigration Law practice group, was a faculty member at the annual AILA Chicago Chapter 2024 Courtroom Skills Workshop at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. This workshop is a unique, in-person training for attorneys of all experience levels. The workshop is taught primarily in mock trial format and focuses on direct examination and effective storytelling techniques for more persuasive case presentation in deportation defense.
